About Me

Hello and welcome to Studio C, I'm Cara D'Ambrosio.  As the mother of young twins, I fully understand the importance of pampering yourself in a relaxing environment. Studio C is located in the heart of Charleston's beautiful Harleston Village and you can't help but be transported back in time. 

I am an Internationally trained hair color specialist and luxury hair stylist.  Even though I have been doing hair for what feels like forever, I love what I do and my clients.  I also take pride in all of the training classes I attend on a yearly basis, I am always working on improving my craft and staying current on industry trends.  I am very talented but at the same time very approachable.

I specialize in hair coloring and custom highlights, as well as in Balayage hair coloring technique, not found anywhere else in Charleston.  I am also highly trained in French Hair Cutting, a methodology created by Jacques Dessange that is a face-framing hair cutting technique that accentuates your beautiful hair color and features.  I like to say that I am an artist and your hair is my canvas and I like to find that harmony between creativity and personal touch

When I am not in my studio you can find me out cruising the beautiful waterways around Charleston or spending time with my husband and our twins.
